Pizhou, located in Jiangsu Province of China, is situated in the intersection of East Longhai Railway and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is a famous ancient city featuring long history, gathered talents, convenient transportation and beautiful ecological environment, and is ranked the 43rd among China’s Top 100 Counties and the 42nd among China’s Industrial Top 100 Counties. It is a nominated nationwide civilized city.
近年来，我市始终坚持“工业立市、工业强市”的战略地位，积极对接“中国制造2025”和江苏省“一中心、一基地”，大力推进科技创新，加快发展先进制造业和战略性新兴产业，形成了半导体材料和设备、非晶科技、现代煤化工、城市矿产、木制品木结构五大主导产业，工业经济的快速发展为各类人才施展才华提供了广阔的舞台，为积极对接先进制造业国家的先进技术和重点企业，让更多有技术、有项目的高层次人才和创新团队来邳州创业发展，我市拟定于2016年4月23日下午15:00分，在法兰克福举办2016邳州（法兰克福）招商引智恳谈会，诚挚邀请您百忙之中拨冗莅临。会议包含招待晚宴。
In recent years, our city has always been adhering to the strategic position of “setting up and booming a city by developing industry” to actively connect with “Made in China 2025 strategy” and Jiangsu Province “One Center, One Base”, give great impetus to technological innovation, accelerate the development of advanced manufacturing industry and strategic emerging industry to form five leading industries such as semiconductor materials & equipment, amorphous technology, modern coal chemical industry, urban mineral products and woodwork structure. The rapid expansion of industrial economy provides an abroad stage for various talents who can exploit their talents. For purpose of actively connecting with the advanced technology in the advanced manufacturing industry countries and with the key enterprises, and of enabling more high-level talents and innovation teams having technology and projects to come to Pizhou for entrepreneurship and development, our city is going to hold a 2016 Pizhou (Frankfurt) talkfest about investment attraction and the attraction of foreign talents in Frankfurt (exact location to be informed) at 15:00 on April 23, 2016, sincerely inviting you to take the time to be present! An appreciation dinner is included right after the talkfest.

邳州位于江苏省最北部，面积2088平方公里，人口186万，是江苏省第二人口大县，是全国著名的板材之乡、大蒜之乡、银杏之乡、玉雕之乡、书法之乡和民间艺术之乡，荣获中国优秀旅游城市、全国科技进步先进市、全国文化先进市、全国党建工作先进市、国家级生态示范区、江苏省园林城市和江苏省文明城市等荣誉称号，入选全国文明城市提名城市。
Pizhou is located in the most north of Jiangsu, covering an area of 2088 sq.km, it is the second most populous county in Jiangsu with a population of 1.86 million. It’s also famous for being the home of board, garlic, gingko, jade carving, calligraphy and folk art, winning honorary titles of Chinese Excellent Tourist City, National Advanced City of Technology, National Advanced City of Culture, National Advanced City of Party Building, National Ecological Demonstration Zone, Jiangsu Garden City and Jaingsu Civilized City, nominated as National Civilized City.
邳州历史悠久、人文荟萃。境内大墩子遗址距今6000年，奚仲造车、邹忌讽齐王纳谏、程邈创制隶书、张良圯桥进履……述说了悠久的历史和灿烂的文化。邳州环境优美、生态宜居。境内艾山九龙风景区、土山关帝庙、岠山风景区、京杭大运河、银杏大道、天下水杉第一路等国家4A级景区景点交相辉映，大力培育银杏文化，全面打响“邳州银杏甲天下”品牌。邳州区位优越、交通便捷。自古有“北接齐鲁、南连江淮”之称，东临亚欧大陆桥东方桥头堡连云港，西依历史文化名城徐州，陇海铁路、霍连高速横穿东西，大运河纵贯南北，是国家“一带一路”和江苏省“两纵两横”战略重要枢纽城市。邳州产业集聚、特色鲜明。牢固树立“工业立市、工业强市”理念，全力打造半导体材料和设备、非晶科技、现代煤化工、城市矿产、木制品木结构五大主导产业。半导体产业形成了材料和装备两条产业链，材料产业链重点企业博康生产的248纳米、193纳米光刻胶单体填补了我国集成电路光刻技术源头产品的空白，并通过了英特尔、三星等电子企业的合作认证。博康控股企业汉拓公司248纳米光刻胶已批量生产，193纳米光刻胶样品已进入企业做工艺验证，军工领域最尖端芯片所使用的电子束光刻胶已通过用户验证。大晶新材料年产600吨印刷电路板用光刻胶、400吨电子光刻胶、600吨光刻胶专用光敏剂及产业链配套的高纯溶剂、试剂等产品填补了国内空白，成为国内生产光刻胶及周边材料体量最大、产品最全的企业。装备产业链已落户江苏影速光电、鲁汶仪器和华兴激光，由博康、中国科学院微电子研究所和国家重大专项“光刻设备研制与产业化”团队联合成立的江苏影速光电技术有限公司目前已研发出印刷电路板用光刻机、双台面激光直写光刻机、双台面激光直写自动线和半导体掩膜激光直写光刻机四种设备，正在申请国家首台套。由中组部千人计划专家、前比利时欧洲微电子研发中心（IMEC）许开东博士联合中科院微电子所成立的鲁汶仪器公司落户邳州，主要生产纳米孔径仪、刻蚀机、镀膜机等。国内唯一掌握2微米波段半导体激光芯片外延片技术的华兴激光，联合中科院半导体所在邳州建设了联合实验室和生产基地，生产激光芯片和外延片。为加快半导体产业发展，我市规划建设了中科半导体产业园，一期400亩，建设32万平米标准厂房和研发办公大楼，招引产业链上项目直接入驻，中科院微电子所和半导体所为落户邳州的半导体项目提供技术支持。邳州重诚守信、开放包容。大力推进简政放权，加快转变政府职能，创新实施并联审批模式，被确定为国家政务公开和政务服务试点县、徐州市转变政府职能试点县。大力弘扬“马上就办、真抓实干”精神，为大众创业、万众创新营造了良好环境，“亲商、安商、富商”的氛围更加浓厚，日益成为投资兴业的热土。
Pizhou has a long history with gathering of talents. Dadunzi Site has a history of 6000 years, stories of Xi Zhong manufacturing vehicles, Zou Ji persuading the King of Qi into  accepting others’ advice, Cheng Miao creating official script, Zhang Liang picking up the shoe on Bridge Yi tell the long history and splendid culture. Pizhou has beautiful environment and livable ecology. AAAA-class scenic areas and spots like Jiulong Scenic Area in Ai Mountain, Guandi Temple in Tu Mountain, Scenic Area of Ju Mountain, The Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou, Gingko Avenue, No.1 road of metasequoia enhance each other's beauty. Develop culture of gingko, promote the brand of “Pizhou gingko being the best in the world”. Pizhou has excellent location and convenient traffic. It has owned the title of “connecting Qilu in the north and Jianghuai in the south” since ancient times, it neighbors Lianyungang, eastern bridge tower of Eurasian Continental Bridge in the east and Xuzhou, famous cultural city in history in the west, Longhai Railway and Lian-huo Highway traverses from east to west, the Grand Canal passes through from north to south, making it an important hub in the national strategy of “One Belt and One Road” and “Two horizontal and longitudinal” of Jiangsu. Pizhou gathers industries and has distinctive features. Firmly establish the idea of “taking industry as city's base and strengthening the city with industry”, fully develop five leading industries of semiconductor material and equipment, amorphous technology, modern coal chemical industry, urban mineral products and woodware and timberwork. The industry of semiconductor has formed two industrial chains of material and equipment, and 248-nanometer, 193-nanometer photoresist monocase produced by Bokang, key enterprise of industrial chain of material, fill in gaps of source of products of photetch of integrated circuit in our country, and pass the cooperative authentication of electronic enterprises like Intel and Samsung. 248-nanometer photoresist of Hantuo, holding company of Bokang, has started volume production, 193-nanometer photoresist sample has entered enterprises for process certification, electron beam photoresist used in top chips in the field of war industry has passed user authentication. Dajing New Material annually produces 600 tons of photoresist used in printed circuit board, 400 tons of electronic photoresist, 600 tons of special photosensitizer of photoresist and high-purity solvent and reagent matching the industrial chain, which fill in the gaps in the country, and becomes the enterprise with largest volume and most complete products of photoresist and accessories. The industrial chain of equipment has entered Jiangsu Yingsu Photoelectric Technology, Leuven Instrument and Huaxing Laser, iangsu Yingsu Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd jointly founded by Bokang, Institute of Microelectronics of Chinese Academy of Sciences  and team of national major project of “Development and industrialization of lithography device” has developed four devices of lithography machine used in printed circuit board, double-mesa laser direct writing lithography machine, double-mesa laser direct writing automation line and semiconductor mask laser direct writing lithography machine, and is now applying for national initiate, Leuven Instruments founded by Dr. Xu Kaidong, expert of the Thousand Talents program, former IMEC and Institute of Microelectronics of Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in Pizhou, mainly producing nanometer apertometer, etcher and coating machine. Huaxing Laser is the only company to master the technology of epitaxial wafer of semiconductor laser chip of 2-micrometer wave band, and it sets up joint lab and production base with Institute of Semiconductor of Chinese Academy of Sciences, producing laser chip and epitaxial wafer. To speed up the development of semiconductor industry, the city has planned to build semiconductor industrial park, the first stage covers an area of 400 mu, and the standard factory and R&D office building covers an area of 320000 sq.m, it has attracted projects in the industrial chain to enter directly, Institutes of Microelectronics and Semiconductor of Chinese Academy of Sciences are located in Pizhou, offering technical support for the projects of semiconductor in Pizhou. Pizhou values integrity and keeps faith, and it open and tolerant.Streamline administration and delegate power, speed up the transformation of government functions, creatively execute parallel connection examination and approbation, confirmed as national trial county of making government affairs public and government affairs service, trial county of transformation of government functions in Xuzhou. Carry forward the spirit of “doing immediately, real practice and solid work”, create good environment for public entrepreneurship and innovation, make stronger atmosphere of “Cordial, Secure and Profitable Environment for Investors”, become a hot spot of investment and development.
